If you're new to yoga, you'll appreciate the warm and welcoming atmosphere at Whole Yoga & Pilates. Its instructors put everyone at ease, presenting a friendly face and always sticking around after class to answer any questions you may have. Throughout the class, they also offer optional modifications so that everyone can easily keep up with the flow of the routine.
Start at a Yoga Basics class if you're a novice. The teacher will show you how to properly master each pose, or asana, and how the breathwork (pranayama) that accompanies the movements makes a big difference. After you're comfortable with the basic poses, you're welcome to try a classic Hatha class, join a faster-paced Vinyasa class, or check out the meditative Yin yoga. The studio also offers Pilates classes that focus on strengthening the core.
